THANK YOU for helping us celebrate our eighth annual River Day! Approximately 1,500 River Day participants gathered at nearly thirty events at locations throughout Macomb and Oakland counties. River Day is coordinated with support from General Motors and DTE Energy Foundation. Scroll down this page to view event highlights.

Rochester RiverFest at Rochester Municipal Park

Pancake flippers include Oakland County Commissioner Sue Ann Douglas, Rochester Hills City Councilwoman Barb Holder, Rochester Hills Mayor Pat Somerville, Rochester Hills resident Linda Davis-Kirksey, and River of Life member Debbie Riccardo.

The Kiwanis picnic shelter in Rochester Municipal Park made for a great pancake breakfast venue and exhibit hall. Nearby activities included fish printing, casting lessons, and a walk on the Paint Creek Trail.

The REI tent was a popular stop.
