Saturday, June 13, 2009

This date coincides with Michigan’s Free Fishing Weekend and Southeast Michigan’s annual Water Week, which runs from June 6- 14, 2009.

What a great way to celebrate all that the Clinton River, its watershed and Lake St. Clair have to offer residents of Southeast Michigan for hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and more!

River DayRiver Day is designed to encourage appreciation and recreational use of the waterways of the Clinton River and Lake St. Clair, and to celebrate the leadership of local citizens, organizations, and communities whose efforts are critical to protecting and enhancing the overall quality of the Clinton River watershed.
