Join us and learn how our everyday actions influence the health of our local waterways.
We’ll discuss:
* Past/currrent local water quality problems
* Water quality successes
* Current efforts to restore and protect the creeks, rivers, lakes, drains and adjacent lands within your community and the Clinton River Watershed
* Simple steps that each of us can take to help protect water quality

The Clinton River Watershed Council will be celebrating our 12th Annual Fundraiser in 2010 with a Walk-A-Thon at The Detroit Zoo on Saturday, July 24th.
The event will be hosted in the morning and will be family friendly so please encourage your friends to come together as teams to ‘Walk for our River’.
The 2-mile walk will take you through the zoo where you will be able to enjoy zoo amenities as part of our walk to raise funds and awareness of the importance of good water quality. We will have food and beverages before and after the event. Proceeds raised through this event will benefit the CRWC programs and services provided to the 1.5 million people in our watershed.
Cost for guests and participants is $10.00 and includes all day admission to to The Detroit Zoo.
