This family fun event will feature a thrilling rubber duck race with thousands of ducks racing to victory at the finish line for cleaner water.

CRWC highlights the natural, economic, and recreational values of the Clinton River by bringing together citizens and communities in an annual celebration of our local water resouces.
During this event, CRWC coodinates a series of events throughout the watershed that encourage adults and children alike to discover and enjoy the waterways right in their own neighborhoods.

Join us and learn about the Clinton River Watershed. We will show you how your everyday actions influence the health of our lakes, rivers, and streams.
We'll discuss:

*Water quality successes
*Current efforts to restore and protect the creeks, rivers, lakes, drains, and adjacent lands within your community and the Clinton River Watershed.

Join the CRWC at this workshop and learn how rain gardens improve the water quality of our lakes, rivers and streams. The importance of using plants that are native to SE Michigan. You will also learn how to build your own rain barrel to collect water run-off from your roof to use for watering plants and for other uses.

Join the Clinton River Watershed Council at this workshop & learn:
· Simple steps to help protect water quality
· How to help maintain your detention pond for water quality
· How native plant buffers can be both beautiful additions to your landscape and effective tools for reducing pollutants, soaking up excess rainwater, preventing erosion.
· Practical “how to” process for planning and designing native lake/stream buffers and receive plant lists, sample landscape plans and other related resources.
